campaign to make the Premier Sports TV channel available on Virgin Media.
Premier Sports has the rights to show 30 live Blue Square Bet Premier each season but so far Virgin viewers have missed out. It can take a couple of months to get onto the platform so if people want to get the channel in time for the play-offs the campaign advises that now is the time to act.
The subscription channel is currently only available to SKY customers, and now fans of sports on the channel such as Rugby League and Ice Hockey are lobbying Virgin Media to take the channel on and make it available on their service. If you are a Virgin customer and would like to join the campaign to view Premier Sports, the campaign details are listed below. If you have contacted them in the past you are asked to do so again while this campaign is running in the hope that as a group the effect will be stronger.

Supporters Club Work to Help Local School
Sunday 31st July - New Raffle launched as Supporters Club step up fundraising, both for ourselves and for a nominated local cause, Maple Ridge School. Maple Ridge is a local special needs school for children with complex learning difficulties. The two projects the school are fundraising for at the moment, and that we are hoping to help with, are a shelter in a grassed area of the playground where the children go to find calm, or just because they have a need to be outdoors whatever the weather, and new equipment for the sensory room.
To raise money towards these projects, Basingstoke Town Supporters Club will be donating £1.00 for every "Stokie - The Soft Toy" sold. Toys are Priced at £9.00 and are available from the Club Shop, online shop, and events attended by the Supporters Club. We will also be launching the "Stokie - The Soft Toy" raffle. Entry will be 50p for three tickets; Prize drawn every £10.00 of ticket sales; £1.50 donated for each £10.00 raised.
Saturday 16th July - Supporters Club begin the round of Summer fetes with a visit to St Marks Church, Kempshott.
